The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are unique in their layout and decor. The vibe is modern, even though there is fire in the fireplace, herringbone parquet floors, ornamentation on the walls, pillows in the windowsills – and, as you would expect given our name, a suit of armor or two.Meeting hall

When designing and furnishing a hotel in a building from 1882, you definitely shouldn’t hide its original idiosyncrasies and unconventional spaces. At least, that is, if you ask our opinion on the matter. All 214 rooms at Hotel Kong Arthur are designed and furnished with affection for the old building and it’s personality. Each room has its own unique details and almost all rooms have a desk. Very recently we opened a new wing and 64 new rooms. Accordingly, many rooms are furnished with our new Copenhagen style decor, other rooms are designed with the spa decor and again, many rooms have the classic and cozy Kong Arthur furnishing.Rooms with hot tub

Maybe you are visiting Copenhagen for the first time while you are staying with us. Or perhaps you have been here many times before. Either way, below we have listed some of the sights in Copenhagen you cannot miss out on and which are always worth paying another visit.
The Crown Jewels
Only a 10-15 minute walk away, Rosenborg Castle is located. This is where the beautiful crown jewels are kept.
To us, Christiania is the essense of Denmark. We love the odd initiatives and the many wonderful personalities found here. This is why we will always recommend Christiania to our guests. Take the metro to Christianshavn; then Christiania is a short walk away.
Enjoy a beautiful sightseeing tour at sea from where the city’s amazing buildings and iconic sights look at their best. The boats depart from the church Holmens Kirke and from Nyhavn; both destinations situated within walking distance from Kongens Nytorv metro station.
On this list, we must not forget “the old garden”; the world’s second oldest amusement park Tivoli. Whether the purpose is to go rollercoaster riding in the summer or shopping, Tivoli is always worth paying a visit. From the hotel, it takes about 15 minutes to walk here – unless you are window shopping; then it might take an hour. If not up for the walk, Tivoli is easily reachable by s-train or bus, as Tivoli is located right across Copenhagen Central Station; a two minute train ride away.
Glatt kosher restaurant, Chabad House and the Synagogue are all within a 7-minute walk.
AirplaneHotel Kong Arthur is situated only a 7 minute walk from traffic nerve center Nørreport station. From Nørreport, you can take the metro directly to Copenhagen Airport Kastrup (CPH) 24/7.
You can also go by Green Mobility city car which is available at the airport and has reserved parking spaces right next to the main door at Hotel Kong Arthur.
